            Fale, Fale & Hemsing Law Offices was established at the conclusion of World War II, when Henry F. Fale returned to Sheboygan from the European Theater to open his law practice.  He was engaged in a general practice until 1972.  Henry was a graduate of St. Mary’s in Winona, Minnesota and then Marquette University Law School.  He had a distinguished career in Sheboygan until his death in 1983.  Outside the practice of law, Henry loved to fish, deer hunt and spend time at his cottage in Marinette County.  At the time of his death, Henry was married and the father of 5 sons and one daughter.

            William F. Fale graduated from Marquette University with a B.A. in 1969 and from Marquette University with a J.D in 1972 and then joined his father in the practice of law that same year.  Bill initially emphasized criminal law, personal injury and family law.  During his initial years with the firm, Bill served as an Assistant City Attorney and a part time Assistant District Attorney.  Bill currently emphasizes all areas of family law and is attempting to encourage engagement in the collaborative process in divorce proceedings.  In the collaborative process he is seeing  the success parties engaged in a divorce experience when they focus on the best interests of their children allowing then to make decisions in a friendly environment that truly promotes civility and communication.  Bill is a member of the Wisconsin Academy of Trial Lawyers where he has served on their Board for a 10-year period.  He previously served two 3-year appointments on the Board of Attorney’s Responsibility (now Office of Lawyer Referral) by appointment of the Supreme Court followed by two 2-years terms on the Board of Governors of the State Bar of Wisconsin that concluded in June of 2004. Bill is the president elect of the Sheboygan Downtown Rotary Club for the 2004-05 year.  He has previously served Rotary as a member of the Board of Directors as well as the Rotary Foundation where he has served as president.  Bill is a member of the Family Law and Small Practitioner’s Sections of the State Bar.  Bill is a hunter and an avid golfer.  He is married and has 2 children, 3 stepchildren and 3 step grandchildren.

            Joseph F. Hemsing graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.S. in 1976 and from the University of Wisconsin with a J.D. in 1979.  Upon graduation he joined the law firm of Fale & Fale where he had been a law clerk.  Joe has been active in the community where he was a Jaycee and member of Kiwanis in addition to serving his church and on various school board committees and activities.  Joe practices in the areas of Estate Planning, Elder Law, Real Estate and Consumer Bankruptcy.  Joe is involved with the Sheboygan Public Education Foundation and has been involved in coaching and is an avid sports enthusiast.  He is currently a member of the Elder Law, Probate & Estate Planning, Bankruptcy and Children’s Law sections of the State Bar of Wisconsin.  Joe is married and is the father of 4 sons, one of which is currently attending the University of Wisconsin Law School.
